Zitty is a certified executive leadership coach at Center for Creative Leadership and has coached clients in a number of sectors including higher education, healthcare, nonprofit, and finance. She comes from a family of medical professionals, global business leaders, political activists, and multitalented artists. In addition to coaching and facilitating communication and leadership development workshops through Deftable LLC, Zitty has done coaching work for Pilgrimage Professional Development Group, Franklin and White, and Organization Insight, LLC. Zitty is also an Every Conversation Matters Master Facilitator and Coach with Epic Rivers Leadership, LLC.

In March 2024, Zitty was recruited and hired as the first Black President of Guilford Education Alliance (GEA). GEA is a nonprofit organization tasked with galvanizing the community in support of quality public education for Guilford County Schools students. As an entrepreneurially-minded alliance builder, Zitty enjoys connecting diverse people and organizations who are willing to invest time, talent, and resources in support of our communities. It became clear shortly after beginning the role with GEA in July 2024 that Zitty is better suited for the fast-paced world of global entrepreneurship and education. In October 2024, she returned to her attention to her daughter, Zuri, and her 2 businesses – Deftable LLC and Zodwa LLC, an Afro-fusion dance company founded in 2020 for high-potential Black women leaders.
